How an APRM Review is Conducted

The APRM review process starts with the Country Self-Assessment (CSA) process based on the above APRM thematic areas to produce the CSA Report (CSAR) and a National Programme of Action (PoA). The CSAR and PoA are submitted to the APRM Secretariat in South Africa.

A Country review Team visits the country to validate both reports with national stakeholders including; government ministries departments and agencies, civil Society, Judiciary, Parliament, Local Governments, and Private Sector, to produce a Country Review Report (CRR).

The President of the participating country presents the CRR to his peers (fellow presidents) at the APRM Summit. Implementation of the agreed Programme of Action starts.
